I recommend a stop here for anyone interested in local history and a quick study of what houses of worship looked like in the 18th century.

Truly hallowed ground. To be in the presence of important historical figures from the Revolutionary War (General Anthony Wayne and family gravesite) to the present is humbling. The original chapel is a historically significant building in addition to a being a sacred place of worship in continuous use since the 1700s. It reinforces for me how important the freedom to worship was to our earliest settlers.
